I identified a need in a short ten-hour Grammar course through my private tutoring as such topics as Verbal Aspect, Verbs of Motion and Reflexive Verbs very often need additional effort and a brush-up course to dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s.
Very often there are pitfalls to using this part of Russian Grammar. I designed a course that will tackle these topics in sequence and allow enough time for theory and practice, to be able to come away from the course with a full grasp of the topics above.
What will be covered in the Grammar Course?
In the first 4 Lessons (Lessons 1-4) we will be looking at Verbal Aspects and using perfective and imperfective verbs properly. We will have an element of translation within this topic.
In the next 3 lessons (Lesson 5-7) we will be looking at Verbs of Motion, identifying unidirectional and multidirectional verbs and their usages with comprehensive exercises and a good theory base.
In the following 3 lessons (Lesson 8-10) the topic will be Reflexive Verbs and we will work on the notion, formation, usage, and function of Reflexive Verbs, studying their different types as well.
