Learning Russian

If you are frustrated by struggling to find a suitable Russian tutor or a comprehensive all-around Russian course, come and speak to us.

In 10 one-hour lessons, you will acquire basic knowledge of Russian to be able to travel to Russia and communicate at a basic level. You will also learn to read and write in Russian which has the Cyrillic alphabet, which will be a great start on its own to learn more about Russian culture, literature, history, language, and society.

The knowledge of Russian will add benefits to your career prospects and holiday plans.

I use lots of interesting techniques for diction and memory that enhance speaking if you are worried about the language barrier.

I also use superefficient materials that look at all aspects of learning like Grammar, Vocabulary, Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening, and Translation. However, this particular course will mainly concentrate on Basic understanding and Speaking practice.

These courses will last for 5 weeks, consisting of 10 one-hour lessons, which will be held twice a week.

The courses on offer are as follows:

• Conversational Russian – Our conversational course will run for 5 weeks every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 pm for an hour each time. • Russian Grammar – This is a 5-week course, that will run for 5 weeks, with 10 one-hour lessons held on a Wednesday & Friday at 6:00 pm. People who would like to get started with Russian for work or education purposes, explore a new culture or get ready for a holiday in Russia, should join the course.

We will be using excellent textbooks and workbooks, e-books and video materials as well as audio materials for our lessons.

I am a native Russian speaker and a qualified teacher from St Petersburg in Russia.

I have over 25 years of experience in teaching and examining Russian. I am also a vetted and qualified public service interpreter and translator. I am a member of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (13379) and the Chartered Institute of Linguists (029149).

My students repeatedly always get top grades in their GCSE and A-Level Russian exams.
